A remake of the Bollywood flick Soldier which was earlier titled Singam is now changed as Vil. The change of the title took place since Director Hari had claimed the right for Singam. This Vijay starrer is being directed by Prabhu Deva. Incidentally Vil was originally registered by S.J.Surya. Actually the director is doing a film under the same title in Telugu with Pawan Kalyan in the lead. He also announced that he would act in its Tamil version soon.
But Vijay had taken the initiative and somehow persuaded S.J.Surya to part away with this title. Asin will be pairing with Vijay in this film. This movie is to hit the floors on June 7th at Palani.
